I was banned from Instagram for having gender critical views 18 months ago. I'd had my account for 4 years, 980 followers, 400+ posts lost with irretrievable pictures and comments. 95% of posts had been about my art practise, not my low level gc activism. I have been banned to the extent that I can't start any new acct that uses my legal name in the description (they don't explicitly state this, but all new accts I've attempted to start using my name are deemed "not available"). Not having the Instagram profile has a negative affect on my public profile as an artist, as it cannot be referred to on CVs or when I need to give info to galleries (ie, entering art comps or exhibition proposals), or given to private people who want to follow what I do or used for marketing opportunities to display the range of my work, the consistency of my practise over time and the number of people it interests.
The self righteous ideologues with the power to control who uses the platforms feel no compunction to throw numerous people into social alienation to nominally "protect" a cult belief system.
I have also been banned from Pinterest and Patreon.
Women will die with this ridiculous use of language and confusion around cancer screening. Again another example of poor access to life saving care just to indulge the feelings of men who it will never affect. We’re apparently just a sum of our parts, so disappointing and enraging. They should be embarrassed and ashamed of themselves.
The words "front hole" are incredibly insulting to women. They are also innacurate in two ways - women have a urethra, a vagina and an anus if we are talking about exits from the pelvic area in the female body, which is three, and the vagina isn't the front one. Also, none of them are holes unless you are speaking only as an on-looker from the outside, as men are. These exits are all passages from inner organs. Unless you are a man with a cock-socket added for sex of course, in which case it is indeed, just a hole for sexual intercourse, and not like a woman at all.
